I enjoy learning about all these critters, and especially love your writing style. I blog for the Huffington Post and a bunch of other sites, so I regularly read a lot of different voices. I love your enthusiasm and all the capital letters and exclamation points when you're really revved up. It's so much fun to read. Keep it up! If you have any information about sea cucumbers around Alaska, I'd be interested, especially regarding their role as walrus food. The poor things seem like sitting ducks while walruses descend upon them like blubber torpedoes. Do you have any blog posts about this?Lori Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07910323052180455547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3433304117507034540.post-26689081031073714352014-03-06T22:04:27.639-08:002014-03-06T22:04:27.639-08:00FYI, another spam today.FYI, another spam today.amoebahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15783694650121687459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3433304117507034540.post-19454563392464845072014-02-27T01:06:54.562-08:002014-02-27T01:06:54.562-08:00thanks! Pretty sure that's a sea cucumber. Sea anemones don't have that kind of motor control and those muddy bottoms are the kinds of places that some of those cukes like to live. Although its hard to count- it does look like about 20 feeding arms which would be an increment of 5. But there is what looks to be a mouth so 95% sure its a cuke.ChrisMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11784970666468925633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3433304117507034540.post-11938257661448691562012-05-23T16:12:58.719-07:002012-05-23T16:12:58.719-07:00Slightly off-topic, but do you have any opinions a...Slightly off-topic, but do you have any opinions about the unknown creature seen at 1:19 in the scale worm video?
